1 Service during the Warranty Period:
1.1 Xtronix warrants that the product you have purchased is free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship when dispatched from our workshop. This warranty is limited to defects in workmanship or parts under normal use during the Warranty Period, Xtronix will perform repair or replacement of defects in workmanship or parts covered by this warranty.
1.2 This warranty extends only to the original purchaser, and is not transferable to anyone who subsequently purchases, leases or otherwise obtains the product from the original purchaser.
1.3 Warranty Period: One Year from the date of invoice for Service Center Warranty, or the date of installation for Onsite Warranty.
1.4 Discounted Repair Period: starts from the date Warranty Period expire, is not an extension to Warranty Period, only applicable if specified in sales contract. Customer will receive agreed discount per sales contract against current full repair charges within this period.
1.5 Onsite Warranty: is applicable to product quoted & purchased along with installation service provided by Xtronix or authorized contractors / installers, and installed to a permanent location. Within the Warranty Period, Xtronix technician will inspect the installed product quarterly & service onsite providing it’s easily accessible. Faulty pixels less than 0.2% of total pixels, or other issue not disturbing main content will be attended with quarterly or other services.
1.6 Service Center Warranty: is applicable to any other product that’s not covered by Onsite Warranty. Customer is responsible for transporting purchased product to & from Xtronix Service Centre. Xtronix still offers services onsite at current hourly rates chargeable to the customer with a discount during Warranty Period.
1.7 All exchanged parts and products replaced will become the property of Xtronix. Xtronix reserves the right to replace the product or relevant part with the same or equivalent product or part, rather than repair it. Replacement of the product or a part does not extend or restart the Warranty Period.
1.8 Within the Warranty Period, in the event that no identical product is available for service or repair, Xtronix has the right to replace the Product with a device of equal capacity, or offer the customer the choice of a product upgrade which may incur an extra cost.
2 This warranty becomes void if the product:
2.1 has been physically damaged or rendered defective as a result of accident, neglect, misuse, abuse, exposure to abnormally corrosive conditions, war, natural disaster or acts of God (e.g. fire, flood, lightning), or other circumstances beyond Xtronix’s control;
2.2 has been physically damaged or rendered defective as a result of modification, service rendered by anyone other than Xtronix authorized personnel, or by the use of parts not supplied by Xtronix;
2.3 has been physically damaged or rendered defective by the use within an improper operating environment, or connection to irregular voltage sources, incorrect voltage, power surges and dips;
2.4 has been repositioned from its permanent position. ONLY applicable to Onsite Warranty.
2.5 the customer cannot provide the sales receipt or purchase invoice.
2.6 the Warranty Period has expired.
3 This warranty does not cover:
3.1 Software related faults resulting from incorrect software installation or usage or software viruses or software inherent bugs shall not be considered as product faults, and may incur a charge for rectification if requested.
3.2 Faults or damages caused by entry of any insect, vermin or foreign object in the product,
3.3 Damage arising during transportation, installation or while moving the Product, or to any transportation costs of the Product or any parts thereof to and from the owner, unless otherwise specified in these warranty conditions.
3.4 Any cost of access equipment (i.e. man lift, scissors lift, special ladders) if the product is not serviceable without such equipment.
3.5 Onsite visits made by Xtronix authorized personnel will be chargeable at current hourly rates to the customer if the technician finds the issue is user related, or software issues not covered by this warranty.
3.6 Normal wear and tear, batteries or any other consumable item.
4 Limited liabilities:
4.1 Xtronix’s obligation under Clause 1 is limited to the repair or replacement of any defective materials.
4.2 Xtronix will not be liable for any loss, damage or alterations to third party hardware or software; or programs, data or information stored on any media or any part of the product, no matter how occurring;
4.3 Xtronix and/or their holding, subsidiaries, affiliates, authorized distributors and resellers and authorized service providers shall not be liable to the Customer for any special, incidental, indirect or consequential loss or damages whatsoever (including without limitation, damages for loss of revenue, business, profits, goodwill or contracts, business interruption, loss of business information, or any other pecuniary loss), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation howsoever arising (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) from the use of the Product.
4.4 This warranty term is valid from 1st Jan 2011, may subject to minor changes. Please refer to www.xtronix.com.au for latest version.
4.5 If any provisions of this warranty are judged to be illegal or unenforceable, the continuation in full force and effect of the remaining provisions will not be prejudiced.
